Thanks to Ms. Rachel Shott for the Valentine breakfast inspiration. Matt was showered with a weekend of forbidden foods, starting with Friday night tacos de tripe y cabeza from street carts (DELICIOUS!) and carrying into chocolate chip cookies to take to work today. My personal favorite contribution was in the form of heart attack breakfast: Bacon and French Toast. The French Toast was sliced from a loaf of bread I baked earlier this week, and soaked in the bacon grease it was frying in. And then I put butter on it before Matt was allowed to drown it in syrup.





Matt bought me the BEST V Day "card" I've ever gotten:

The "haiku" on it reads something like:

You love her..."

I guess we will have to make our Destro and Baroness Halloween/comic-con costumes after all.

My other surprise from Matt was Ika, this little orange squid, who was my kitchen helper. Ika will be traveling faithfully with me all week through my errands.
