I Want Halloween

It's been on my mind since, oh, 2 weeks ago. I can't believe it, I even beat TARGET this year in anticipation!! No explanation for it, it is what it is. So, I've started preparing. The first thing to do, of course, was chop off my pony's head.
I found her thrifting a couple of weeks ago, when my Halloween cravings began, and loved her orange color. For whatever reason, Hasbro originally released her with pink sparkly hair. But that's all fixed now, and she is on her way to becoming a little Halloween pony.
Her head was actually glued back on last night, after I stitched in her new mane:
Next steps will involve the removal of her pony butt tattoo, and some painting and costume sewing for her. Final pics to follow much closer to Halloween... Or, if you're in the neighborhood then, you could come meet her in person.

For those of you not in the know on the crafting pony world, before you think I'm a bit crazy, behold the following art works I've gleaned from the web to share with you:

So, you can see there is a wide spectrum of creations in existence, including a glow in the dark Xbox pony, emo ponies, rocker ponies, fairy ponies, and gargoyle ponies. There are even bondage ponies, which I've neglected to show here. My favorite however, is below:
"Baby", is the title of this pony.
I post this one, I think, especially for Melody.

I LOVE them all. I actually really like the skeleton one because of Dia De Los Muertos. I've always said that if I weren't a Christian I would have had a Dia De Los Muertos wedding- I think it would be fantastic... I also love the pony with the curls, and the neon green hair. But "Baby" makes me soooooo happy. Why do I love that movie so much?! You should come over and we can lay on a blanket, watch Dirty Dancing and play with your ponies!
